iitecca.

Headword:
iitecca.
Principal English Translation:

to be within or inside something (see Karttunen)

Orthographic Variants:
īihteccah
IPAspelling:
iːihtekkɑh
Frances Karttunen:

ĪIHTECCAH to be within something / está adentro (T) [(1)Tp.130]. This is a fusion of the preterit–as-present verb CĀ with the postposition –IHTEC prefixed with the third person singular possessive prefix. T treats the sequence CC as though no morpheme boundary intervenes and probably shifts stress accordingly as in CUALLICAH ‘for something to be good.’ T also has ĪIHTICCAH ‘for something to be done correctly; to be empty, to be without work,’ apparently with the same derivational history. See -IHTEC, the verb CĀ.
