Frances Karttunen:

IHTZŌMIĀ vrefl to blow one’s nose / sonarse las narices (M) [(2)Cf.71v]. This stem also appears whit fused TLA-, ‘meaning to snort,’ which is then is then reduplicated to form frequentative TLAHTLAHTZŌMIĀ ‘to snort repeatedly.’ T has the variant (I)LTZŌMIĀ. There is inconsistency about the strength of the initial I. It is retained in M and C but not in T. With TLA- it is dropped in M and C as well. M also has a derived form with NE- in which the I is dropped.
