In examples from the primordial titles from Cuixingo, studies by Yukitaka Inoue, we see several examples where the Nahuatl term quaxochtli is equated with the Spanish lindero. He adds that mojón was also used in a similar way. But mojonera or mojonero was something different. See the Spanish attestations.
