MĪXĪHUIĀ vrefl to use an intoxicating herb, to get drunk / se emborrachó (C for preterit form) [(1)Cf. 60V]. This is conventionally paired with TLĀPĀHUIĀ, THE WHOLE phrase meaning ‘to become intoxicated.’ This verb contrasts with intransitive MĪXIHU(I) ‘to give birth’ both in the final syllable and in being reflexive.
