Thank you to all our users who emailed to alert us to the problem! We hope to have it repaired soon.

Meanwhile, elements of the Advanced Search are working and the Alphabetical Listings are working, too.

tamazolin.

Headword:
tamazolin.
Principal English Translation:

toad (see Karttunen, Molina, and attestations); some attestations translate this as "frog," but there is another word for frog, calatl; the cacatl is apparently a toad; technically, all toads are frogs, but toads often have a warty appearance, shorter legs, and they are less likely to live in water (SW)

Orthographic Variants:
tamazolli, tamazoli, tamaçoli, tamaçolli, tamazulin
IPAspelling:
tɑmɑsol
Alonso de Molina:

tamazolin. sapo.

Frances Karttunen:

TAMAZOL-IN pl: -TIN ~ -MEH toad / sapo (M) [(2)Tp.224,(2)Zp.114,210,(3)Xp.84]. For 'big toad' T has TAMAZOLHUĒHUEH, forming the plural by adding the reduplicated plural form of the diminutive compounding element -TŌN. X has -LI for the absolutive suffix and E for A in the first syllable.
