TLĀLTIĀ vrefl, vt for someone to receive land; to give someone land / le dan terreno (T), le da terreno (T) [(6)Tp.161,211]. There is a better gloss for the reflexive use of this verb, recibe tierra, in the Spanish-to-Nahuatl side of T. M has intransitive tlaltia ‘to turn to earth,’ which probably represents TLĀLTIYA. See TLĀL-LI.
