TLAMIC something finished; a complete measure of twenty / veinte mazorcas de maíz o de cosas semejantes (M), acabado (Z) [(1)Bf.7r, (2)Zp.4,210]. M has tlanqui for ‘something finished,’ and tlamic as measure of twenty, but the latter is consistent with the sense of ‘something (a count, a unit) completed.’ See TLAM(I).

Olotl se usa cuando se trata de granos de maíz o de mazorcas principalmente, de plátanos, de pilares, etc., del uno hasta el 19. A partir de 20, se usa la palabra tlamic hasta 39: tlamic oncaxtolli onnaui; después se vuelve a la forma ordinaria: ompoalolotl, 40 granos, etc.
