YŌL-LI pl: -TIN heart / corazón (X). This is abundantly attested as a free form in X but not elsewhere. M has only yoli, yuli ‘living thing’ which is a different word. The related verb-modifying element YŌL-, which implies volition or emotional involvement, is highly productive, and there is potential ambiguity between it and YŌL-LI as an incorporated object. YŌL-LI, YŌLLŌ-TL, and YŌLLOH-TLI are virtually synonymous but tend to different grammatical functions. See YŌL(I), YŌL-.
