Frances Karttunen:

ZAZĀLTIC something sticky, viscous / cosa pegajosa como engrudo, o cosa semejante (M) [(1)Tp.221, (3)Zp.95,130,201]. M gives as synonyms çaçaltic and çaçalic. T has a short vowel in ZAL despite the clear relationship to ZĀLIHU(I) and ZĀLOĀ. In one of three attestations Z marks the vowel long. See ZĀLOĀ.
