niqu. ad hoc construction. Class 2: ōniquīxmahpilxixil. īxtli, mahpilli, xixli to make a repeated stabbing or pounding motion. Vowel quantities are not known with xixli, and it may have a glottal stop after the first i; ihxili (quantity of the second i unknown) is the basic verb to stab. 222
