In the image associated with the nacanamacac that appears in Book 10 of the Florentine codex, both the seller and the buyer appear to be in Spanish colonial dress. The seller is described in the text as being a hunter. Some of the meats in the text are also specifically described as being associated with Castile (chicken, cattle, pigs, sheep, goats, etc.).
