Headword:
zanipan.
Principal English Translation:

something moderate; moderately (see Karttunen)

Orthographic Variants:
zānīpan
IPAspelling:
sɑːniːpɑn
Frances Karttunen:

ZĀNĪPAN something moderate; moderately / cosa manual o mediana, o algún tanto, o en alguna manera (M), medianamente, de buena manera (C) [(8)Cf.122r,123r,131v]. Of eight attestations C marks the vowel of the first syllable long five times and leaves three unmarked. Apparently this is not a compound of ZAN and ĪPAN. It is often found in the phrases ZĀNĪPAN CUAL-LI and ZĀNĪPAN YĒC-TLI, both of which appear in M with the same sense of ZĀNĪPAN alone.
