Alonso de Molina:

Frances Karttunen:
AHQUETZ(A) to raise one´s head; to rear up; to be upside down / levantar o alzar la cabeza (M), se lo empina (T), boca arriba (T) M combines the definitions of AHQUETZ(A) with ĀQUETZ(A) ´to beat liquid (such as chocolate) into a foam.´ In principle, the sense of ´to lift up the head´ could be derived from Ā-TL´s ´crown of the head´ sense, but C specifically contrasts AHQUETZ(A) with ĀQUETZ(A). See AHCO, QUETZ(A).
