ECAHUĪL-LI pl: -TIN shadow, shade / sonbra (Z) This is abundantly attested in Z, where three of nine attestations mark the vowel of the second syllable long, although it probably should be short. On the other hand, Z fails to mark the vowel of the third syllable long, but it is long in T’s synonymous TLAECAHUĪLLŌ-TL. There is an internal glottal stop in the synonymous EHCAUHYŌ-TL, and there should probably be one here as well. See EHCAUHYŌ-TL.
