EHCAUHTILIĀ vt to lighten something / lo hace menos pesado (Z) [(2)Zp.97,187]. It seems plausible to relate this in sense to EHCAUHYŌ-TL, referring to shadows and light , insubstantial things. It is opposite in sense from ETIY(A) ‘to be heavy.’
