to stagger (see Karttunen)

Orthographic Variants:
huihhuitōni

Frances Karttunen:

HUIHHUITŌN(I) to stagger / se tambalea (T) [(1)Bf.12r,(3)Tp.111]. M has viuitomi ‘to be sick and unable to stand.’ In the attestation in B the final vowel is deleted, and the nasal agrees with the adjacent T, hence it is ambiguous between basic M(I) and N(I). T has N(I).

HUIHHUITŌNĪHUA nonact. HUIHHUITŌN(I).

HUIHHUITŌNĪTIĀ caus. HUIHHUITŌN(I).
