A search for mozac in the Digital Florentine Codex brings a result of no texts but 26 image results, and several images include people covered with a dark-colored unguent. A search for unguent in texts brings up 13 text results. Axin, eloxochitl, liquid rubber, turpentine, lampblack, soot, "burned copal incense and dye," and other substances also contribute to this search result.
