The source cited above shows two men, one lying on a petlatl (petate). He has been bitten by a snake (the chiyahuitl rattlesnake), and the other man is trying to treat his snakebite. The text describes the treatment, which includes cutting through the bite many times, sucking out the venom, etc. (SW)
