Frances Karttunen:
TĒNCUI vrefl, vt to be in dispute; to copy something / se dispute (Z), lo imita (Z) [(4)Zp.46,70,174,197]. In both attestations of the reflexive Z gives this with a final glottal stop, and there is no information about the preterit form. The second element of the transitive form is given as CUI, preterit CUIC. See TĒN-TLI, CUI. Frances Karttunen, An Analytical Dictionary of Nahuatl (Norman: University of Oklahoma Press, 1992), 225.
