Attestations from sources in English: 

tlallanehuia = may have meant "to rent land" (following a similar construction), because "tlalaneyoni" = was translated as "the rent on land" in a testament from Xochimilco from 1650;
we also see "tetlaneuhtiloz" = "they are to be rented for"
