ĀHUĒLIC something tasteless, insipid, sour / desabrido, insípido (T)[(1)Tp.169]. One would expect the reflex of AH rather than Ā and a literal meaning of ´not-tasty.´ The single attestation has Ā, however. Possibly the sense is ´water-flavored,´ hence ´tasteless.´ See Ā-TL, HUĒLIC.
