Headword:
huehuelatzin.
Principal English Translation:

a handicapped person; one who drags himself around (see Karttunen)

Orthographic Variants:
huēhuelatzin
IPAspelling:
weːwelɑtsin
Frances Karttunen:

HUĒHUELATZIN cripple, one who drags himself around / uno que no puede andar, no más se arrastra, cojo (T) [(2)Tp.110,111]. This is derived from HUILĀN(A). T has E for I and LA for LĀN. This is a reduplicated form of T’s HUELATZIN, but the reduplication has to do with the action of the verb, ‘to drag oneself around in various places,’ rather than with the whole derived noun. See HUELATZIN.

HUĪHUILATZIN See HUĒHUELATZIN.
