tonayo.

Headword:
tonayo.
Principal English Translation:

something permeated with the heat of the sun (see Karttunen)

Orthographic Variants:
tōnayoh
IPAspelling:
toːnɑyoh
Frances Karttunen:

TŌNAYOH something permeated with the heat of the sun / en el sol (T) [(1)Tp.242]. Because of shortening of word-final vowels and the general loss of word-final glottal stop in T, it cannot be determined if this ends in –YŌ or –YOH, but the absence of an absolutive suffix and the sense of the word are evidence for –YOH. See TŌNA, -YOH.
